Brent Anderson is a California native and has lived in Orange County for over 30 years. Brent is licensed in California as both a Certified Public Accountant and Real Estate Broker. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from USC and started working for Ernst & Young (then known as Arthur Young & Co, one of the “Big 4” international accounting firms) in Beverly Hills upon graduation.
Brent worked with clients in numerous industries while at Ernst & Young, but found the real estate industry when he decided to try a different path. He has worked for public and private companies, including a large publicly traded land holding and development company in LA County, a British homebuilder and a multi-state land development firm.
Brent expanded his knowledge beyond accounting into the land acquisition and entitlement process and production homebuilding while working with these companies. He ran his own real estate consulting firm for seven years providing financial expertise and forward planning services to small and medium sized homebuilders. When the Great Recession devastated the industry and forced his builder clients out of business, he became the Corporate Controller of a nationwide insurance broker that provided auto insurance to individuals not being served by the traditional brokers. He was responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and tax coordination and was involved in the acquisition of over 100 companies in five years. But, after five years with the insurance broker, Brent wanted to return to real estate.
As the Controller of Ultimate New Home Sales and Marketing, Inc., Brent oversees the day to day financial operations and consults on new opportunities and potential financing solutions.
Now that all three children have moved out of the house, Brent and his wife are looking forward to quality time together. They enjoy skiing, snorkeling and traveling, and plan on doing more of all in the future.
